DIETER BOHLEN: everywhere of course I was to be seen, however, the people react only positively to me. Recently I was, for example, with Estefania on Sylt. What the people do there for an up rising! They were totally dear all to me. There are Liz Hurley, Kerner, Boris Becker sits around - but to those only a few People come. And to me they come to hundred crowds and ask: Dieter, do you give me sometimes an autograph?

Why wants "Miller's Milk" to renounce, nevertheless, in future your services as an advertising ambassador?

The contract runs out quite normally to the end of the year.

And why it's not extended?

Because we have decided after the successful time together. I have advertised to milk rice - the campaign ran supersuccessfully, the stuff became sold really. On the other hand, one must also say: Bohlen and Buttermilk simply do not fit.

How do you come to this deciding?

I am just no type an innovation for Buttermilk market research. What I could have said to them already before. Buttermilk is bought from 50-year-old alternative biology-mountain pine bearer channels. The fact that the not necessarily products shop on which my turnip is resplendent, nevertheless, is clear.

What has not hindered you from being ready, nevertheless, for the advertisement...

It just goes against my nature to lay me on the decayed skin. My big model is Franz Beckenbauer with 13 advertising contracts. I have only 6. But he is level also the emperor, I only Dieter.

And also without Dieter it created the Ex-Schutzlinge Daniel Kublbock, Alexander or Yvonne Catterfield in the charts.

Is this a small satisfaction for you?

This is no small, but a big satisfaction. Because I do everything for these people. If they have stepped to me then in the bottom, they notice only that all that is not so easy. This has to do nothing with megalomania, but there is no one in Germany which had so many number 1 Hits like me.

However, plagiarism reproaches lately appeared. Is it true?

Where would be the problem if in one of my 150 Hits really passages were which there were before already in another song? During past 25 years of my career this has not been found yet. I never had any plagiarism in Europe. But it can happen of course always that one without wanting it composes something similar.

And one does not notice this?

I am not infallible there certainly. The best example therefor is "We Have A Dream" of the "Superstars". I had already composed the title ten years ago and have gone with it even to the Grand Prix. "Together go" at that time the number was called, landed only on place 10. Therefore, the complete flop, has forgotten I this quite fast again

And in 2002 have you remembered then completely suddenly about the song?

I have not noted that really. When I wrote the "DSDS" song, the melody was found to me anyhow famously. However, I thought, this would be due to the fact that she is so good. Something like that can happen sometimes, and it is at least even better, one steals with himself.

With Your first book you became the cult figure. The second work introduced many complaints in you.

Votes, I had all lawyers of the world against myself because everybody wanted to cash up. It was all at once for all about the big money. The first book was amusing, cultic and randy, this has read everybody on the beach. With the second book the spirit of the times had turned, and it suddenly had another flavor.

Among the rest, you have also written badly about Ex-partner of "Modern-Talking" Thomas Anders...

... and this was maybe a mistake. But not I built a wall... And exactly this I have scored because I have always been asked, why I have dissolved "Modern Talking". I thought, I write down it, then I no more need to answer the question. With it I have damaged, unfortunately, the name "Modern Talking " and with it also a piece myself. I have underestimated, how many people of the opinion are that one may talk thus about his partner not publicly - all the same what has done with one.

Do you suffer from this knowledge?

I know - wounds will been heal through any time. And Thomas must probably sing up to his end of life "Cheri Cheri Lady" - this is a punishment enough.

And, otherwise, are there no mistakes which Dieter Bohlen has done?

However. Of course there was a some of them. I have also done mistake, but professionally I cannot say really from myself. Therefore, I am far away from conceit because I am still megapopular. I have earned this year more than Josef Ackermann...

... German Bank Head should have earned in 2003 more than eleven millions.

I say, nevertheless: my business is better going!

What do you mean, how long this still remains so?

When my career is finished, I'll decide myself - I don't stop, only because other want it. In addition there is from my view also no reason. I know exactly that I am able also at the age of 70 years still to do a Hit No.1.
